Bright Suns Marcella!
Thanks for stopping by the planDisney Panel! I was just at
Disney's Hollywood Studios last month with my family and my boys are huge Star Wars fans. They wanted to build a lightsaber at
Savi's Workshop however that experience is currently unavailable. It is my understanding that due to the current conditions and the
phased re-opening of the
Walt Disney World Resort, certain experiences such as this one have been canceled until further notice. Instead my boys chose to a purchase a Legacy Lightsaber hilt and blade. These are being sold in the same location as Savi's Workshop. In order to maintain social distancing, Guests are allowed in a few at a time. No reservation required. One of my boys purchased Luke Skywalker's lightsaber and the other chose Darth Vadar's lightsaber and it was comparable in quality, size and price as to the ones offered for building at Savi's Workshop. The Legacy Lightsabers come with a hard plastic display box for the hilt. The blades, belt clips, stands and other accessories are sold separately.
Here is a list of the Legacy Lightsabers just in case you are interested (subject to availability): Ben Solo Legacy Lightsaber, Darth Maul Legacy Lightsaber, Darth Vader Legacy Lightsaber, Temple Guardian Legacy Lightsaber, Ahsoka Tano Legacy Lightsaber, Rey Legacy Lightsaber, Kylo Ren Legacy Lightsaber, Mace Windu Legacy Lightsaber, Luke Skywalker Legacy Lightsaber, Reforged Skywalker Legacy Lightsaber, and Asajj Ventress Legacy Lightsaber.
Quick Tip: Within
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, there a great little place called
Oga's Cantina. This is a must-do and is so popular, reservations are recommended. Trust me, you don't want to miss out!
Marcella, thank you for giving me the opportunity to help you. Please feel free to send me any other questions you may have!
