Bright Suns! I’m going to be visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios in about 30 days. However I’ve only just found out that Savi’s Workshop needs reservations 60 days in advance and my days are all booked up. What suggestions can you provide to still get in?

    Bright Suns, Matthew!

As you have discovered, time with the Gatherers at Savi's Workshop is difficult to acquire. We have been fortunate to have allies traveling from beyond the galaxy to join the Cause. Given the persistence of the First Order, however, our allies have been forced to change their plans from time to time. My best recommendation is to keep checking the reservation system for Savi's Workshop. Check multiple times a day until the day of your visit, particularly since cancelations could happen the day prior.

I trust that you have a Disney Park Pass system reservation for Disney's Hollywood Studios. If so, that is one reason to have hope. While you check the reservation system for Savi's Workshop, consider building a droid at Droid Depot. We have done both experiences with our young Jedi and although they are different experiences, we needed both to build our skills and support the Resistance.

A visit to Batuu demands particular attention to dining. We use our time at Oga's Cantina to chat with other Resistance forces, plan our methods of defeating the First Order, and to celebrate our escape on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Remember also to use your Star Wars: Datapad to translate galactic languages and hack into droids.

Matthew, I sense that the Force is strong with you. Focus and be persistent. And check out Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities. The Legacy Lightsabers are a sight to behold. Secure your transport to Batuu and take courage as you prepare for your visit!

    Good journey,
