Brigetta, I just read one of your answers about making your own mouse ear hat. HOW COOL!!! Do you know what it costs to do that? Thanks a bunch!

    Hi Jaynee,

Yes, these custom made "ears" are very neat and so much fun to make.  It is very difficult for me to give you a set price, as these custom made beauties can be very expensive depending on how many "extras" you wish to add-on to them or you can make them as basic as you like for a friendlier budget.  I can give you an idea for the most basic ear hat which would be a hat base with a chin strap (there are so many different styles to choose from, just make sure that you try the base on before you start decorating to make sure it fits you perfectly) and then your two ears (these can be the same or different, that is completely up to you!).  This basic creation will cost between $10.00-$13.00 (prices are subject to change and will depend on the different styles you choose).

From this basic price point you can go totally extravagant and with that extravagance you will see the price start to go up as high as you want it to basically!  You will see the accessories wall with items such as patches, buttons, letters, earrings, etc... that can be added (add as many or as few as you would like, but keep an eye on the price as this is where it will start to jump up higher and higher, but this is also where your creation becomes your own as well).  Finally, you can choose to have your name or nickname embroidered onto your hat for approximately $3.00.  It can be as pricey as you would like it to be, but even with the most basic hat, it will still be custom made "just for you".

In case the Downtown Disney location is not easily accessible to you during your trip to WDW, there is another location of the Chapeau in Magic Kingdom on Main Street U.S.A.  Have fun creating and have fun making it "your own"!

    Best wishes,
    Brigitta
