Brief visit possible this July 5-9, 4 kids 8,5,3, 9 mos. only 2 adults. Crowds? Which rides can we ride 3 in a car? Worried it may not be worth it, hard to let kids ride if we can not all ride together. Have been in Jan and May but not summer. Thanks!

    Hi Jonathan!

I have 5 children that are similar ages as your children. Most attractions at Walt Disney World will be able to seat 3, especially with little ones like a baby and a 3-year-old. The ones that usually can't seat 3 have a height requirement. Toy Story Midway Mania at Disney's Hollywood Studios is usually an attraction that only seats 2, but we have been able to sit a baby on our laps or squeeze a small child next to an adult and child. Your 8-year-old can ride alone. Whenever we encountered that situation we would send the child riding alone between the two adults, so one could wait for her when she exited the attraction.

The crowds around the 4th of July will be significantly higher than in January and May, and the temperatures will be hotter. If this is the only time you can visit Walt Disney World, then I would go and have a solid touring plan. My kids ask me every day when our next Disney vacation is and would love to visit in July - crowds and all! You can avoid most of the crowds by arriving at the theme parks early, taking breaks in the middle of the day and utilizing FastPass+ selections. My family has a wonderful time when we vacation with a more laid-back style. However, I do prefer smaller crowds, and I would probably reschedule for a different time of year.

If you have any other questions, please come back and see us real soon at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Good luck with your decision and have a magical vacation!
