Brent Good morning. I am there at Disney from 12th Dec to 18th December . 12-16th I am swan reserve. 16-18th I am looking at a non disney resort . I was looking at the holiday inn any view on this . Or any similar properties close to disney to evaluate.

    Hi Maninder,

Welcome back to planDisney. Thank you for reaching out with your vacation planning questions! It sounds like you have an exciting trip planned for December! What a wonderful time to visit The Most Magical Place On Earth! Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will take place a few nights during your stay; you should consider attending the seasonal sweets, Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas Parade, and Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show to make your trip more magical and memorable!

Staying at the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve for the first part of your trip is a great choice, and I’m happy to help with your plans for the latter part! The Walt Disney World Swan Reserve is classified as an "Other Select Deluxe Hotel." While it shares some benefits with Disney’s Deluxe Resorts and Villas, such as Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Theme Park Hours, it doesn’t quite offer the same level of Disney theming and immersive experience that you’d find at Disney Resorts Collection hotels. If you’re looking for that classic Disney magic, I recommend a split stay at a Moderate or Value Resort. Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney's Art of Animation Resort are fantastic options, offering vibrant theming and easy access to the Disney Skyliner, making your park-hopping even more enjoyable. It will also continue to benefit you from Early Theme Park Entry and complimentary transportation.

The Disney Springs Resort area has great options if you're looking at non-Disney resorts! Hotels like the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace, Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista, and the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista are just a short walk from the Disney Springs area, where you’ll find fantastic dining options like The Boathouse, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, Gideon’s Bakehouse, and Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew. Plus, the shopping at Disney Springs is unparalleled, with everything from unique boutiques to popular brands and the largest collection of Disney merch at World of Disney.

If you have any further questions or need more recommendations, feel free to ask! I’d be happy to discuss the Dolphin, Swan, and Swan Reserve in more detail or anything else you need to make your vacation perfect.

    See you real soon!
    Brent
