Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Megan! Pumping while visiting Walt Disney World Resort can be done! I visited while nursing my little girl, but made note about where to pump and how to store so if I ever needed the information, I’d be ready!
When you aren’t in your room, the
Baby Care Centers are extremely convenient, because they each boast a private nursing area, where you can plug in your pump and think about baby while you pump. The Baby Care Centers offer plenty of running water with a sink, paper towels and a countertop, as well as a microwave should you need it to sterilize your pump parts. Personally, I loved traveling with microwave sterilization bags since they fold flat into my backpack. As far as storing the milk, I used a backpack with cold storage, for short term storage and purchase a locker in each park to stow everything away. If you are staying for more than a few days and you’d like to get the milk back home, I urge you to look into Milk Stork, my preferred milk mail system. You can order a cooler, sterile bags and shipping container to your hotel, and you can then pack the cooler to your liking with included Lansinoh bags (various sizes available). The pre-labeled, frozen temperature box can then be dropped off with your Walt Disney World Resort’s Front Desk for
mailing and you’ll be able to track it all the way home to your baby, where your caretaker can pop it into the freezer.
If you need more help about navigating the Parks or even your Hotel room at your
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
