Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Reggie! I, too, nursed my baby girl at Walt Disney World inside the Baby Care Centers and I can report it was a truly comfortable and clean experience!
Yes, you are correct that there is one main
Baby Care Center in each Park. (There are no Baby Care Centers at Disney Springs or the Water Parks, but there are spacious changing tables in each restroom). Using your example, it may take 5-8 minutes depending on where you are in the park to arrive at the Baby Care Centers. The only time it may take you longer is if you come upon a parade or heavy foot traffic due to a stage show or fireworks. Folks may gather for fireworks up to an hour before they actually begin! If you are fearful of needing the centers right away, I urge you to check the digital park maps ahead of your vacation, and have those paper maps in your diaper bag should you need them. You can also ask any Cast Member for a shortcut or directions in the parks; they are well versed! When it comes to outlets, they can be far and few between within the parks. I have seldom seen (or used) them in any restroom because there are so many people, but you can certainly find outlets inside the Baby Care Center for a breast pump or recharging while you nurse. I typically carry a portable battery charger with me in the parks, and several of my friends purchased the
Disney Fuel Rods (available at dozens of locations) that you can drop and exchange at any time for no additional cost.
If I can assist you with any more infant, preschooler or vacation questions, please let me know. I’m hEAR for you! ~ Lindsey P.
