Breast Milk! Are there freezers in the rooms to freeze ice packs or should I pack heavy duty zip locks and get ice each day? I'll still be nursing/using the breast pump for our 6 mo. old and wanted to know how to pack accordingly for pumped milk.

    Welcome home, Erin!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I visited Walt Disney World Resort many times as a nursing mom, and I am so happy you have reached out to us with your question as I am sure the answer will help you and many other Guests as well.

Unfortunately, the mini refrigerators that are in most Walt Disney World Resort hotel rooms will not be capable of freezing breast milk. While they can maintain your food and drinks very cold, they do to reach freezing temperatures. I suggest that you pack heavy duty zip lock bags, breast milk storage bags and use the readily available ice from the ice machines to keep your breast milk at a safe temperature. I am unsure of where you are staying, but if you have still not made your Disney Resort hotel reservations you may appreciate knowing that the refrigerators in The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort do have freezers.

Erin, I hope I have helped answer your question. Please continue to visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel before, during and after your Walt Disney World Resort vacation with all of your vacation planning questions. We are always happy to help you!

    Wishing you an Unforgettable Vacation,
