We want to have breakfast at Sanaa but are NOT staying at any resorts. Is there a way to achieve this other than by Minnievan? If we park at Disney Springs, the bus that goes to AK Lodge probably won't get us to Sanaa in time to make breakfast?

Jambo, Gina! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question today! Your arrival date is just around the corner, and dining at Sanaa promises you an adventure in African cuisine with some striking savanna views! I had the chance to dine here for the first time last month for dinner, and it was such an incredible meal!

Gina, guests are typically allowed access to complimentary self-parking while visiting Disney Resort hotels for select shopping, dining, or recreational activities, but this policy is subject to availability, and Cast Members may ask to confirm your dining reservation when you arrive. Because breakfast at Sanaa does not require a dining reservation, there is a chance you may not be able to park at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge to visit this quick-service breakfast option if extra guest parking is not available. This is often the same situation when using a traditional rideshare service.

Considering this, if you'll be visiting one of the theme parks on the same day, I'd suggest parking your vehicle at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and taking the complimentary bus transportation to Animal Kingdom Lodge. This is the closest theme park to the resort, and once you've paid your parking fee at this resort, you will not have to pay again if you're visiting another theme park. To make it even easier, plan your savanna breakfast on a day when you'll be spending time at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park so you can hop to breakfast and return to the park easily!

If you do get the opportunity to dine at Sanaa, be sure to spend some time exploring the ambiance of Animal Kingdom Lodge, including venturing out onto the public savanna viewing areas! This resort is such a fun escape from the hustle and bustle of the parks and truly makes you feel like you're in a totally different place, so take it all in!

Gina, if you have any other planning questions, come back and see us any time at planDisney!

    See you real soon,
    Alison
