Have 8:40 breakfast resv. at Crystal Palace. Can we arrive around 8:15 to take pictures of the park before the crowds arrive? Where do we go to get in for the resv ? Is the breakfast buffet really worth the price or would dinner be a better choice?

Nicole thank you so much for stopping by with your question!

During our last visit to Walt Disney World, we also had reservations at The Crystal Palace before Magic Kingdom Park opened for the day. Great minds really must think alike, because we did exactly what you are planning. We arrived about 30 minutes before our reservation at The Crystal Palace. We were able to slowly stroll down Main Street, U.S.A. and really take in the details. There was also already a Disney PhotoPass photographer taking pictures in front of Cinderella Castle at that time. We got an amazing family photo that I treasure!

When you arrive at Magic Kingdom Park, look for a Cast Member with a tablet. You can inform them of your early reservation and they will check your info to make sure you are ‘on the list’. If you are not able to find this person, any Cast Member will be able to assist you.

The breakfast buffet at The Crystal Palace is delicious and Winnie the Pooh and his Friends were wonderful hosts. We do not normally have a big breakfast most mornings while vacationing at Walt Disney World, but we do like to have a nice hot breakfast at least once during our stay. It kept us nice and full through lunch until our early dinner that night.

    Have a magical vacation, Nicole!

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
