    We have breakfast reservations at The Wave after 10 am, so how far does it take to walk to Contemporary from MK?

    I like how you think! Get in a bit of park time before breakfast!
    Visiting the Magic Kingdom BEFORE breakfast isn't a bad idea at all. You should be able to get in an attraction or two before heading for The Wave...Of American Flavors Restaurant over at Disney's Contemporary Resort.
    You have two choices for the speediest way to get over to breakfast. You could either hop on the monorail and get off at the resort which is the first stop, or you could exit the Main Entrance and walk maybe 5-7 minutes to the resort (which I think is faster). SO...depending on the mood of your group, you can walk or take the monorail.
