We have breakfast reservations for 'Ohanas at 9:35 am on the Thursday of our trip. Thursday is an Extra Magic Hour morning at MK. Will we have enough time to ride anything (goal is to ride Dumbo) if arriving at 8 a.m. and still get to breakfast on time?

    Hi Danielle!

You should have plenty of time to ride Dumbo the Flying Elephant before you have to go to the Polynesian Resort for your 'Ohana Advanced Dining Reservation at 9:35 am if you arrive at the Magic Kingdom 15 to 30 minutes before it is scheduled to open for Extra Magic Hours on that morning.  If you go straight to Dumbo the Flying Elephant as soon as the Magic Kingdom is open, you may even be able to ride it more than once (there are actually two rides now--the Dueling Dumbos because one flies clockwise and the other flies counter clockwise).  When you are done with your Dumbo ride or rides, then you can head out of the Magic Kingdom and take the Resort Monorail or a boat to the Polynesian Resort. I would recommend planning for about 20 minutes of travel time to get to the Polynesian Resort from the Magic Kingdom (it could actually be less if there is a Monorail or boat waiting when you walk up).  So if you leave the Magic Kingdom by 9:00 am, then you should be able to get to 'Ohana with time to spare.

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
