Hello Christy! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
While my family has taken advantage of dining at the Enchanted Beast's Castle for Lunch and Dinner on multiple occasions at Be Our Guest Restaurant, we have yet to
"ensure a bon jour" by feasting on French delicacies for breakfast. All that changes on our next vacation as our
Advanced Dining Reservations for the hottest dining spot in the Magic Kingdom are booked and ready to go.
For Quick-Service Dining at other dining locations at Walt Disney World Resort, you often select your own table after purchasing your food. At Be Our Guest Restaurant, you are given a single rose (locator device) after payment and choose your cutlery from stations and use the self-serve fountain areas for drinks. Once your food is prepared, a server delivers food using the rose to locate the table you chose in 1 of the 3 meticulously Imagineered dining areas with the Beast's castle.
A server cleans the table after use, so I will sometimes tip as we are somewhat messy eaters, but gratuity is optional and based on the Guest's discretion. Unlike Table-Service dining, breakfast at Be Our Guest Restaurant is paid for before you receive your meal, leaving the option to pay for gratuity as cash on the table after the meal. For comparison, I have never left a gratuity on the table at
Columbia Harbour House in Magic Kingdom nor is one added to the bill (although I do clear the table of rubbish, myself).
Be sure to relive all of the magic of Disney's Beauty and the Beast in Belle's wonderfully-themed Village, including Gaston's Tavern, Village Gifts and Enchanted Tales with Belle.
Bon Appétit!
