If we have breakfast reservations at the Grand Floridian at 8:40am, when and how can we get to the Magic Kingdom Park? Our first fast pass item isn’t until 11:00am in Magic Kingdom. I’m not sure where to park when I get there.

Hello there, Amanda! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for stopping by and asking your Walt Disney World Resort question!

You actually have quite a few transportation options for traveling between Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and Magic Kingdom! Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is one of three Disney Resort hotels that are on the Resort Monorail. This means that you and your family can hop on the Monorail and arrive at Magic Kingdom after a short ride! Another option would be the Ferryboats that run between Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and Magic Kingdom. Again, this is a short, fun way to travel to Magic Kingdom following your breakfast!

If you intend on driving your own vehicle to breakfast, it is important to note that Guests visiting a Disney Resort hotel do receive complimentary standard parking so you would be able to park right at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. However, you would need to move your vehicle to the Ticket and Transportation Center following breakfast since this complimentary parking is only valid during your time visiting the resort.

You may also avoid parking altogether and take a Minnie Van to your breakfast reservation! Minnie Van Service is a quick, convenient ride service operated by friendly Disney Cast Members. This service can get you anywhere around Walt Disney World Resort and is easily operated through the Lyft app!

Have fun continuing to plan for your upcoming trip!
