Hiya! Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Robert. We are so happy to have you!
Oh my goodness, in just a few short days, your family will be joining in on the fun of
The World's Most Magical Celebration on your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. During Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary Celebration, there is so much to enjoy, including the EAResistible
celebratory bites found at every turn. Since it looks like you will be visiting
Magic Kingdom Park, visit
Gaston's Tavern to check out the brand new Donald Duck Dome Cake, premiering on January 10th. I can't wait for my trip later this month to try that one!
Now, let's talk about
parking! There is complimentary self-parking at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for Guests with an
Advanced Dining Reservation. However, there is a maximum of 3 hours parked time for restaurant Guests, so this will not work if you plan to visit Magic Kingdom Park after your breakfast.
I would recommend parking over Magic Kingdom Park, where you can grab the complimentary tram over to the Transportation and Ticket Center. From there, hop on
The Resort Monorail and enjoy a ride through the sky on your way over to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, which will be the 2nd stop on the line. I would plan on allowing yourself approximately 30 minutes to park and make it in time for your breakfast reservation.
Once you have finished breakfast, there are a few great ways to travel over to Magic Kingdom Park, including another ride on the world-famous monorail and a quick 15-minute stroll along the scenic walking path. But my absolute favorite mode of transportation from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to Magic Kingdom Park is the
water taxi. Head on over to the dock located next to building seven, and hop aboard to take in the views as you sail across
Seven Seas Lagoon with
Cinderella Castle in the distance. After just a few short minutes, you will have arrived at Magic Kingdom Park, and you are off on your day of adventure! It's such a relaxing ride with some fantastic photo opportunities to boot.
Robert, I hope my answer has been helpful to you! We here at planDisney love to help our fellow Guests make the most of their Walt Disney World Vacation, so please visit us again if you have any other questions!
Have a Magical Day!
