    We have breakfast reservations at Chef Mickey's at 8:30am. We will be staying at POR and using the Disney transportation service. What time will we need to meet the bus in order to make it to our reservation on time?

    Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

    You are sure to have a wonderful breakfast at Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort!  

    You will need to take a bus from Disney's Port Orleans Resort to the Magic Kingdom park, and then either walk to the Contemporary Resort (10-15 minutes), or take the monorail which stops right inside the Contemporary Resort.

    If the Magic Kingdom park is opening at 8.00 a.m. for Extra Magic Hours, the Disney transportation will begin operating around 7.00 a.m. to Magic Kingdom.  Check the park calendar for opening times on the day of your reservation for Chef Mickey's.

    Alternatively, there will be buses running for Guests attending character dining.   Disney Transportation operates special buses to take guests to their character breakfast reservations.  You will need to speak with your Front Desk to confirm what time you should be waiting for your bus.  If you are waiting more than 20 minutes for your bus, you can call the Bus Operation Center directly at 407 824 7092 and tell them you need an immediate bus for character dining, and that you have been waiting for 20 minutes.

    I would recommend that you should be on board the bus by no later than 7.15-7.30 a.m.
