I have 11:20 a.m. breakfast reservations at Chef Mickeys but I would like to see the opening ceremonies at MK. We're staying at All-Star Movies resort. Can we leave the hotel, head straight to MK and leave around 11 to make breakfast. If so HOW?

It will be very easy for you to head to the Magic Kingdom from your All Star Movie resort in the morning to see the rope drop ceremonies!  You can take the Disney transportation bus or drive and park your car.  Enjoy a few rides and attractions and about 10:50 I would make sure you are exiting the park.

You have two choices to reach the Contemporary resort for Chef Mickey's.  You can head to the monorails and take the resort sure and watch the signs to get on this "local" or you will end up at the Transportation and Ticket Center stop.  The Contemporary will be your first stop.  Your second choice and one we often do is to simply walk.  It is about a 10 minute leisurely walk.  You will see a walkway to the left as you exit and pass the bus depot area on the right side of the path.  This will lead to the Contemporary resort.

To return to the Magic Kingdom you again have the choice of walking back along the path or taking the monorail.
