    We have breakfast reservations at 7:00am with Chef Mickey - how do we get there from Old Key West - will we have to take a Taxi?

    Hi Karen! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Are you ready for a magical experience at Chef Mickey's? There's nothing quite like the excitement of getting up close and personal with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto. My kids love it! Be sure to have your camera and autograph book ready.

    It's normally about a 15 minute drive from Disney's Old Key West Resort to Chef Mickey's at Disney's  Contemporary Resort. There is an early morning bus especially for guests with 7 a.m. breakfast reservations. When you check-in at the front desk, let the concierge know the date and time of your breakfast reservation at Chef Mickey's. You will be able to take the early morning bus to the Magic Kingdom and from there catch the monorail to Disney's Contemporary Resort in time for your reservation.

    With your very early a.m. reservation your other option would be to take a taxi. It's just a short ride over to Disney's Contemporary Resort so the cost won't be too much, and you'll minimize your anxiety about missing your reservation. Getting a cab is super simple, just go to the Bell Services Desk and ask them to call one for you - be sure to give yourself some extra time. Or, keep your morning stress free, speak to Bell Services the night before and have them order your cab to arrive at 6:30 a.m. to give you plenty of time to arrive comfortably.
