We have breakfast reservations at 8:45 at Akershus before EPCOT opens for the day. Will we be able to get into the park early from the main entrance to make our reservations? How do we do that?

Hey, Valerie, welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. An early morning breakfast inside a Theme Park is a great way to start your day, so let's chat about how to get inside when your reservation is technically before the park opens.

Valerie, you do not need to worry about EPCOT not being open in time for your breakfast reservation at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. EPCOT has early morning entry at 8:30 a.m. for guests staying at Disney Resorts Collection Hotels, so they will be letting guests in as early as 8:00 a.m. Even if you aren't staying on-site, you will be able to enter but just won't be able to get on any attractions until the Theme Park officially opens. This will give you plenty of time to get back to World Showcase and make your way to the Norway Pavilion. There may also be a Cast Member with a tablet stationed at the entrance to the Theme Park, and you can let them know that you've got a dining reservation if they haven't begun letting off-site guests into the EPCOT by the time you've arrived. It will take about 10-15 minutes to walk from the entrance to the restaurant, so keep that in mind when you're planning your morning!

    Have a magical day, Valerie!
