    We have a 9:05am breakfast reservation at the Tuskar House during our vacation. We are staying at POR, what time should we leave the resort?

    Hi Jessica,

    Buses begin running approximately one hour prior to park opening. The bus ride from Port Orleans Riverside to Animal Kingdom takes about 25-30 minutes. Keep in mind that this is travel time only and doesn't include wait time for the buses. It will also take about 5-10 minutes to walk from the front gate to Tusker House. If the park opens at 9am that day, it could take longer to actually enter the park and get to Tusker House as it can be more congested at the front gates at opening and closing times. Therefore, I would plan on leaving about 45 minutes to an hour prior to your reservation to be on the safe side. When you arrive at Animal Kingdom, look for the specially marked entrance for guests with early morning dining reservations. They may allow you to enter the park prior to 9am in order to get to Tusker House with plenty of time. Be sure to have your dining reservation confirmation number handy along with your park admission.
