If I have a breakfast reservation for prior to early entry: character meal in MK: can I catch a bus and make it on time?

Hey, Patricia, and welcome back to planDisney. Dining at Magic Kingdom Park before the theme park opens is one of our favorite times. While we don't want to get up early now that our kids are much older, we love the photo opportunities and being some of the first guests in the park before the rest of the Guests arrive.

Buses tend to run 45-60 minutes before the theme park opens and that includes days with Early Theme Park Entry. So if the Magic Kingdom Park Early Theme Park Entry is at 8:30 AM then the Walt Disney World Bus Service should start to run at 7:45 AM. If the bus does not get you to the entrance with enough time then you can take a rideshare like Uber/Lyft/Minnie Van Service to the Transportation and Ticket Center (Magic Kingdom Park parking lot) and then the Resort Monorail to the entrance to the "Most Magical Place on Earth." My recommendation: ask the front desk of your Resort the night before your reservation when is the early bus to Magic Kingdom Park will arrive. If you are unable to make your reservation then consider the rideshare option. We usually rideshare for convenience.

Patricia, I hope this information helps you plan your route. Please feel free to write me back directly for other Disney vacation planning tips.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
