Hi Moms! We have an 8:05 breakfast reservation in MK on a day when Early Morning Magic is on. We are NOT participating in EMM, but since we'll likely arrive at the park around the same time as the EMMers, how much time should I allow for security? Thx

    Hi Courtney,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

If you’ve already visited Magic Kingdom Park for a pre-opening breakfast dining reservation, then you’ll be happy to know that the procedure is still the same even on mornings when Early Morning Magic is offered and that there will still be a line reserved for those Guests with dining reservations.

Based on my experience I don’t find that the number of Guests who are there for Early Morning Magic has that significant of an impact on the lines to get into the park (or through security). I wouldn’t add more than 10-15 minutes to your total travel time in order to make it to your dining reservation on time.

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming visit! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
