Hey, Melvyn!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited for your magnificent trip "across the pond" to Walt Disney World Resort.
Be Our Guest Restaurant in Fantasyland is simply the best. We love the Beauty and the Beast theme and found the Ballroom dining room stunning. Look out the windows in the back for snow. Our table of four took Lumiere’s advice and split the Croissant Doughnut: a fried doughnut covered in a banana-caramel sauce. Our taste buds met perfection.
The Transportation and Ticket Center is the parking lot for Magic Kingdom Park and it typically opens at 7:00 a.m. From there, beginning at 7:30 a.m. on most days, you will be able to take the
Resort Monorail to the entrance of Magic Kingdom Park. When you arrive at Magic Kingdom Park before the theme park officially opens, look for Cast Members on the left side of the main gate with signs for “early dining reservations and tours." You will need to check in with them. They will look for your name on a list before allowing you inside the theme park beginning at 7:45 a.m. Because your reservation is at 8:55 a.m. they may hold you back until 8:40 a.m. It's only an 8-minute walk from the front gate to the restaurant. I suggest you print off a copy or take a screen shot of your reservation and carry it with you in case your name is not on the list.
Disney Dad Tip: Once inside, the light crowds provide a perfect opportunity for special photos of Cinderella Castle, buildings on Main Street, U.S.A. and attractions in Fantasyland.
Melvyn, enjoy making many
unforgettable, delicious and Magical Memories!
