Hi Katy!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I absolutely love having an early breakfast reservation at the Magic Kingdom Park. The atmosphere is perfect, as you will see the park coming to life, and have the opportunity to take some family photos without anyone else wandering into your picture! The character breakfast at
The Crystal Palace is one of my favourites. It is such a stunning location. The buses begin operating from the Walt Disney World Resort hotels around 45 minutes before park opening (so on this day it would be 8.15am) which does not allow enough time for your early breakfast check-in. Using the
Minne Van Service would be a good idea for your family, as they accommodate up to 6 Guests. The Minnie Vans are driven by Cast Members and are a really fun way to start your day! You can make your booking on the Lyft app, which will also show the cost of this service. Alternatively, you can stop by the front desk of your resort hotel and ask then to hail you a taxi cab. Please allow a little extra time for this as there may not be a taxi readily waiting at the resort. As I am unsure which hotel you are travelling from, I suggest allowing around 30 minutes driving time and I would plan to arrive at the park by at least 8.00am for your 8.30am reservation. After you have been through a security check, scan your MagicBand or park ticket at the entrance that has a sign for Guests with an early dining reservation. When they admit you into the park you can soak up the magic of Main Street USA as you walk to breakfast.
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World.
