    I have a breakfast reservation at the Contemporary Resort at 7:40am. I am staying at the Polynesian Resort. What is the best form of transportation to get to the Contemporary from the Polynesian for our breakfast? Will the monorail be running?

    We have similar plans for our upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation, so this question hits home for me. It is always a great idea to plan every tiny aspect of your vacation and have contingencies just in case. 

    Depending on the time, the best form of transportation from Disney’s Contemporary Resort to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort would be to take the monorail. You can expect the Resort Monorail and Express Monorail to begin operating 30 minutes before Magic Kingdom Theme Park opens. For example, if Magic Kingdom opens at 8:30 AM for Early Theme Park Entry (for Resort guests), the monorail will begin running at 8:00 AM, which would not allow you to make it in time for your reservation. Please note that you can always utilize the Minnie Van service or one of the smartphone rideshare companies to get you to your destination if you will not have a car handy.
