I have a breakfast reservation at chef Mickey at 10,40 am can I leave the car there while I visit magic Kingdom for the day and how much would it be many thanks Robert

    Hi Robert James!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Breakfast at Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort is a great way to start your day - this has been one of my family's favourite character dining experiences for many years - although characters are subject to change, you will be likely to meet several, such as Chef Mickey (of course!), Minnie, Pluto, Donald and Goofy!

If you have a dining reservation at any of the Disney Resort hotels, there is no charge for parking, but typically you may only park there for around three hours.  If you are intending to spend the day at Magic Kingdom Park, it makes sense to park at the Magic Kingdom Parking Lot prior to your dining reservation, take the parking tram to the Transportation and Ticket Center and board the monorail to Disney's Contemporary Resort for your Chef Mickey reservation - it is a lovely relaxing ride, stopping at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and then Magic Kingdom Park before going straight through the middle of Disney's Contemporary Resort.  After dining you have the choice of either taking the monorail loop around again to Magic Kingdom Park, or taking a short stroll to the park entrance.  At the end of your day at the park, the ferryboat will take you back to the Transportation and Ticket Center, or you could take the monorail again - it's just two stops.  Your car is safely parked for the whole day, and if you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, there is no charge for parking at the theme parks.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions.  We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World, and keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest official news, and updates on any events that may be happening during your stay.
