If I have a breakfast reservation at cape May restaurant for 11am, what time will they kick us out (as it says the hours are 7:30-11:30am)?

Hey Howdy Hey Barbara and welcome to planDisney!

I bet you all are getting super excited about your upcoming trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth in just a few days! Thank you so much for stopping by with your question about the details of character meals. I will be happy to give you a little more insight into the details.

When traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort with little ones, or let's be honest those of us who are kids at heart, entering the lands and attractions of our favorite movies is a truly Magical experience. Character Dining is another huge way to add a little extra pixie dust to your experience. This is a huge tip that I give to all parents of little ones or those who want a little extra attention from the characters. Another hack that I offer is the timing of your meal. Booking a meal towards the end of the availability time, say 11:00 AM breakfast that finishes at 11:30, will allow for a little bonus time. In my experience, characters seem to linger a bit longer towards the end of the time availability due to not having any parties joining after. It is a nicer way to get a little more quality time with those characters we love.

As far as "kicking you out", don't worry this does not happen per se. After the full dining room has their time with the characters, the characters will leave the dining room. They usually time their visits to the tables towards the end of your meals so after they leave, there is not a huge need to hang around, especially with all the Magic around the parks and resorts to get back to! I have never been nor felt as if I was being rushed out of a character meal, so if you need some extra time to finish that cup of coffee or enjoy that last Mickey waffle, feel free!

I hope this helped give you an idea of what to expect for your upcoming visit. Make sure you have your autograph book handy as well as a camera, you are not going to want to miss an experience with your little ones meeting the characters!

If you have any further questions, please feel free to let us know, we are always happy to help!

    To Infinity and Beyond,

    Nick
