We have a breakfast reservation at Cape May Cafe for 11:25am. We would like to spend some time exploring the Boardwalk before our reservation. How far before our reservation will we be allowed to arrive?

Hey there, Bobbi! Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so glad that you've stopped by with another great vacation planning question!

You are someone after my own heart! Exploring Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's BoardWalk makes for the BEST Disney day! I love soaking up the relaxing, laid-back vibes of Beach Club Resort and the liveliness of the BoardWalk along with the peacefulness of Crescent Lake. A morning stroll on the BoardWalk followed by a yummy breakfast at Cape May Cafe (Hello, Salted Caramel "Beach Buns" ... YUM) sounds like the perfect start to a practically perfect Disney day, so, let's chat about how to make that happen.

Cape May Cafe at Disney's Beach Club Resort is just a short, beautiful stroll away from Disney's BoardWalk. Feel free to arrive at the Beach Club any time that morning to begin your leisurely exploration of the Resorts. If you are taking Disney transportation, such as the Disney Skyliner, just be sure to check with the front desk at your Resort for information on when it begins running. Typically, it is about 30-60 minutes before park opening. If you will be driving and parking your vehicle in the Resort's parking lot, when you arrive at the security hut at the Beach Club, just let the Security Cast Member know that you have a dining reservation there and will be shopping and exploring the Resort before your breakfast. Be sure to have your dining reservation information handy. Then, just enjoy your beautiful walk over to the BoardWalk! BEST. DAY. EVER!

While you are at Disney's BoardWalk Inn, be sure to stop in the lobby, check out all of the perfectly themed details, and be on the lookout for the famous (some would say creepy) Nanny Chairs. Look on the back of the chairs to see what their names are! Make sure you look up to find Lucy the Elephant, which is a replica of the Atlantic City attraction. How cool is that?! Also, be sure to stop into the Screen Door General Store at the BoardWalk. I always find the best Disney souvenirs here! Happy exploring, shopping and dining, my friend!

Bobbi, I hope this was helpful, and I hope you have THE most magical upcoming adventure! Slowing down and taking in all of the magic around you is the BEST way to do it! I hope it's pixie-dusted and unforgettable! Please stop by any time with any vacation planning questions you may have. You've got a friend in me!

I hope to see ya real soon,

    Mandy
