Hello! If we have a 7:30 breakfast reservation at Cape May Cafe, but are not staying at a Disney Resort, can we park our car at Beach Club, eat breakfast, and then spend the day at EPCOT?

Hiya, Julie! Welcome to planDisney. It looks like your Walt Disney World vacation is just a few months away. How exciting!

I’m a big fan of character dining and an extra big fan of character dining breakfasts. There’s nothing better than enjoying a Mickey Waffle while actually getting to meet Mickey Mouse (or Donald or Goofy)! I haven’t had the opportunity to enjoy Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast at Cape May Cafe yet, but it’s high on my family’s Disney Parks bucket list.

You are correct that you can enjoy complimentary parking at Beach Club Resort while dining at Cape May Cafe, but unfortunately, you aren’t able to leave your vehicle there for the rest of the day. I checked with a friendly Cast Member and they confirmed that without a hotel reservation, you can leave your car there for about 3 hours. Security will verify your dining reservation at the front gate and let you in about an hour in advance. You then have 2 more hours to enjoy the resort. If you plan to go to EPCOT after your delicious breakfast then you’ll need to move your car, but luckily it’s just a short drive to the EPCOT parking lot.

Julie, I hope this information helps with planning your magical Disney day. If you have any questions about parking while you are at Walt Disney World, don’t hesitate to ask a Cast Member for assistance. And if any other vacation planning questions arise, don’t hesitate to ask your pals at planDisney.

    Magical travels!
