Hiya, YuWen! Welcome to
planDisney, and thank you so much for stopping by with your question. I'm so glad you asked, because timing can sometimes feel confusing with restaurants that transition between meals, and
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is such a special experience that you'll definitely want to enjoy it without feeling rushed.
The wonderful news is that you don't need to worry at all. Even though the breakfast service at Akershus officially ends at 12:10 p.m., your 11:45 a.m. reservation will still be a full breakfast experience from beginning to end. Once you're seated, you'll be served the same delicious breakfast offerings that all morning Guests receive, and the kitchen will continue preparing breakfast items for your table, even as the restaurant transitions behind the scenes.
Akershus does not switch you into lunch automatically, and you won't be moved into the next meal period mid-visit. Since the restaurant is family-style for breakfast, everything is brought directly to your table in generous skillets complete with eggs, pastries, potato casserole, Norwegian waffles, and all the other favorites they're known for. You can enjoy your food, the atmosphere, and your time with the princesses without watching the clock. As long as you're still eating your breakfast service, you'll continue to receive breakfast foods only.
And the best part? You're welcome to stay and enjoy your meal at a relaxed pace. You won't be asked to clear out after just 25 minutes. Disney wants you to savor the experience, meet the princesses, take your photos, and enjoy the royal hospitality.
YuWen, you're going to have such a lovely time at Akershus. The setting is beautiful, the princess interactions are so warm and charming, and the breakfast is one of the most delightful ways to start a magical
EPCOT day. Take your time, enjoy every bite, and let the fairytale unfold around you! If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach back out to us. We're always available and more than happy to help here at planDisney!
Warm hugs,
Ana Paula
