    1. Breakfast res at GF1900 @ 8am. How to get there & how long will it take from POR? 2. Mickey's BBQ - how to get to it and how long will it take from POR? 3. Pirates & Pals @ Contemporary - how do we get there & how long will it take from PO

    Hi Tamara,

I'm happy to help you out. I understand how overwhelming it can be trying to figure out the transportation system and how much time to allow for different routes. Here are the best suggestions I have for your three scenarios.

    1. Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare from Port Orleans Riverside - for these early morning character meals, there is usually an early morning special bus specifically routed to take guests with those reservations prior to park opening. Even if your reservation isn't at Magic Kingdom, this bus should run early enough for you to ride to Magic Kingdom, then transfer to the resort monorail bound for Grand Floridian. For the time and location of this special early character meal bus, check with your front desk or guest services.

    2. Mickey's Backyard BBQ from Port Orleans Riverside - take a bus to Magic Kingdom then transfer to a boat bound for Fort Wilderness at the resort boat launch docks in front of the Magic Kingdom. The bus ride to Magic Kingdom will take about 17-20 minutes and the boat will take about 15 minutes. These times are travel times only and do not include waiting for transportation. Once you arrive at the boat dock at Fort Wilderness, follow the signs along the path to the BBQ, it is a short 3-5 minute walk to the check-in point for the dinner.

    3. Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage from Port Orleans Riverside - take a bus to the Magic Kingdom (same as above for the BBQ). Then, you can either walk a short distance to the Contemporary Resort (about a 5-10 minute walk depending on your pace) or you can take the resort monorail to the Contemporary (about a 10 minute ride). Once again, it might take longer to take the monorail since you might have to wait for one. You will then need to check the Daily Events board in the lobby for the exact location to meet. They suggest that you arrive 10 minutes early for this event.

    Have a fantastic trip.
