We have a breakfast res for Akershus at 10:30 for my daughters 6th bday, i heard about the princess storybook reading, is this a separate event and do you need a ticket for it? What time is it at? Thought it would be a nice addition to my princesses bday!

Hello Amber. My name's Joel. I'm a dude who knows way more than he should about princesses. And yes, I leaped at the opportunity to do the Storytime with a Princess at Epcot in February.

It's an opportunity available exclusively to those who book their Walt Disney World vacation through AAA. It's offered several times a day in a private area in the Norway pavilion. When we went, Jasmine was the guest of honor. She had the kids sit around her on the carpet and then read from a ginormous Aladdin storybook, and she took numerous pauses throughout the story to weave in personal anecdotes and allow for guest interaction. I tweeted a short video of the experience as it happened (check out and search for "Story Time with a Princess.")

Following the story, kids were allowed to ask her questions. Then they did a parade around the private room and finished with one-on-one time with pictures and autographs. It was awesome. The kids liked it too.
