Hiya Jennifer,
Welcome back to planDisney! I am happy to help you prepare for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I know that Ryan and Prince have already assisted you thus far, so I’m honored to be a part of the journey!
First off, great question, Jennifer! Some of the best dining at Walt Disney World Resort is at the resort hotels. My ideal day starts with breakfast at either
Kona Café,
Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera, or ‘
Ohana before heading to the Theme Parks. In fact, I can’t imagine a better start than the Sour Cream Waffles from Topolino’s Terrace right now. Although this is a great way to start your day, unfortunately, you cannot remain
parked at the resort hotel beyond your confirmed dining reservation. To ensure that Guests with resort and dining reservations are accommodated, you can only park for up to three hours at a resort hotel you are not staying at. While this is more than enough time to enjoy your meal and explore the resort you are dining at, it is not near enough time to enjoy a day at Theme Parks. So as you finalize your itinerary, make sure to allot some time to move your vehicle and park at the Theme Park you are visiting. Depending on what time our dining reservations are, my family and I like to park at the Theme Parks first and then catch a
Minnie Van over to our dining reservation from the parking lot. This saves us from having to move our car after our breakfast.
I hope this was helpful, Jennifer. I know that timing is precious during a vacation, so if you need any additional help, please come back and see us.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
