We have a 7:50 am breakfast at 'Ohana then plan to go to Magic Kingdom for the day. We want to be at MK as close to opening time (9:00 am) as possible. What is the quickest transportation from 'Ohana to MK and about how long will it take?

    Hi Amber,

A Best Friends Breakfast with Lilo & Stitch at 'Ohana is a terrific way to start your Magic Kingdom day. I love the Island Potatoes there! Once your meal is done, you will be able to hop on the monorail and be at the park entrance in minutes.

The monorail platform is directly across the lobby of the Great Ceremonial Hall from 'Ohana. Monorails run about every 10 minutes, and there's just one quick stop at the Grand Floridian resort before Magic Kingdom. So it shouldn't take more than about 20 minutes to reach the gate.

You also can take a water taxi from the Polynesian Village Resort to Magic Kingdom, but in my experience, that takes a bit longer.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Please let us know if we can help in any other ways with your planning. Enjoy your Walt Disney World vacation!
