Heigh-ho, Cynthia, it's off to Walt Disney World you go!
Oh my gooseberry pie! You're going to have so much fun traveling with more people than Snow White AND her seven dwarf friends. Sitting down for a few meals is a great way to spend time together. I'll be visiting with extended family in just a couple of weeks, and even though we might go our separate ways during the day, we have dinner plans as a group most nights. It's a fun and relaxing way to recap our adventures and discuss the next day's itinerary.
With a party of 15, you'll want to have several people in your group make
Advance Dining Reservations for the same time or within 15-30 minutes of one another. My family of 10 has two or three reservations for each of our upcoming meals, and we tried to coordinate times as best we could. My mom, my sister, and I each made reservations in our
My Disney Experience accounts, and when we arrive at a restaurant, we'll let the Cast Member know that we'd like to be seated as close together as possible. I recommend having three members of your group attempt to make reservations for parties of 5. Best wishes finding tables and times that work for you!
Cynthia, when planning for a large group, some restaurants might work better than others in terms of layout and availability. If you aren't able to reserve tables at
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera, but still want to enjoy a meal with Disney characters, you might have more luck with the
Garden Grill Restaurant in
EPCOT or
Tusker House Restaurant in
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
Mickey Mouse and his pals won't make an appearance at
Biergarten Restaurant in EPCOT, but this lively restaurant that seats parties at long, communal tables might be a great choice for your group.
Whispering Canyon Café at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is a fun restaurant with a spacious dining area and is another option I'd suggest for your crew. At
Disney Springs,
Raglan Road™ Irish Pub & Restaurant is always fun with a crowd. If you need any more restaurant ideas, don't hesitate to reach out again; my panelist pals and I LOVE to talk about Disney food!
I hope this is helpful! Stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog and
social media for updates and information as more restaurants come back online. Thanks so much for stopping by, and we look forward to seeing ya real soon!
Bon appétit,
Betsy
