We have breakfast at CRT at 8:30 and the park does not open until 9am (no extra magic hours that day) and are staying off resort. What is the best way to ensure we get there on time in regards to parking lot hours and monorail etc...?

Welcome to the Moms Panel Paige!  We're glad you're hEAR!

No worries! You can drive your own car, park at the Transportation & Ticket Center and take the Monorail over.  If the Express Monorail isn't operating yet, you will be able to take the Resort Monorail over to the Magic Kingdom.  Just be sure to allow yourself a little extra time since you'll be making stops at the Polynesian Resort & the Grand Floridian before you arrive at the Magic Kingdom.  I'd plan to arrive at the Magic Kingdom parking lot between 7:30 a.m. and 7:45 a.m.

Be sure you have your reservation confirmation number on hand. I haven't had to show mine but I'm one of those that likes to always be prepared just in case.  You will also need your park ticket to enter the Magic Kingdom.

You will be required to go through security before going through the turnstiles but its usually pretty quick that early in the morning.  We entered the turnstiles farthest to the left if you are facing the Main Street Train Station.  The entrance was marked for character breakfasts on the sign above the turnstiles.  If for some reason its not, Cast Members will be there to assist you in the right direction.

When I have an advanced dining reservation before the Magic Kingdom opens, I love taking pictures as we head down Main Street.  Its not crowded yet and I feel like I'm starting my day with a little extra pixie dust because I feel like I *almost* have the park to myself.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
