Welcome back to planDisney, Hallie!
Thank you for once again counting on our panelists to help you plan a pixie-dusted visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. I am happy to hear you will be at The Most Magical Place on Earth during Thanksgiving week.
Seasonal festive fun has already begun, and magical experiences are waiting for you and your
little ones, so get ready to make memories you will cherish forever!
I love that you have an early breakfast reservation at
Chef Mickey’s. I cannot think of a better way to start your day before heading to Magic Kingdom Park! This popular restaurant is located right next to the park at
Disney’s Contemporary Resort, so it is only a short walk between the restaurant and park entrance. However, due to the
current situation and in order to help promote social distancing, Guests are only allowed to enter the parks starting at the time of their scheduled
theme park reservation.
Please note that
Mickey and his pals are only scheduled to return to Chef Mickey's beginning December 16, 2020, but you will be able to catch
seasonal character cavalcades and wave hello to Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and other Disney friends as they pass through Magic Kingdom Park. I would personally keep the reservation, but if meeting the characters is your priority then you might consider making different plans for breakfast. If you decide to have breakfast back at your hotel, this might mean giving your children a few extra minutes in bed, and at least in my family extra sleep means my girls wake up more rested and in a better mood!
It was a pleasure answering your question. Come back to visit real soon if you have additional questions, we are delighted to help!
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
