Hi we have a breakfast booking in magic kingdom at 8am however the park opens at 9am . I have 2 questions: 1. How do we get to the restaurant if the park is not open yet ? 2: what time will the free bus start as we need to be sat down by 8am ? Thanks

    Hi Louise!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I absolutely love having an early breakfast reservation at the Magic Kingdom Park. It is the perfect time of day to see the park coming to life, and have the opportunity to take some family photos without anyone else wandering into your picture! The buses begin operating from the Walt Disney World Resort hotels around 45 minutes before park opening. If Extra Magic Hours are available at the Magic Kingdom Park on that morning (which would be 8.00-9.00am exclusively for Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests), the buses would start running around 7.15am. However, as your reservation is early, I would recommend using the Minnie Van Service. They accommodate up to six Guests, are driven by Cast Members and are a really fun way to start your day! You can make your booking on the Lyft app, which will also show the cost of this service. Alternatively, you can stop by the front desk of your resort hotel and ask then to hail you a taxi cab. Please allow a little extra time for this as there may not be a taxi readily waiting at the resort. As I am unsure which hotel you are travelling from, I suggest allowing around 30 minutes driving time and I would plan to arrive at the park by at least 7.30am for your 8.00am reservation. After you have been through a security check, scan your MagicBand or park ticket at the entrance that has a sign for Guests with an early dining reservation. You may have to wait a few minutes, but they will admit you into the park ahead of all the regular guests, in plenty of time for your check-in at the restaurant.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical holiday to Walt Disney World.
