Hi Cara!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
In my opinion, the best time of day at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is first thing in the morning. Try and find some time to walk around the beautiful grounds - the views over Seven Seas Lagoon are stunning! If you have a dining reservation at any of the Disney Resort hotels, parking is complimentary, but typically only for around three hours. What I would do is park at the Magic Kingdom Parking Lot, take the parking tram to the Transportation and Ticket Center and board the
monorail to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort for your breakfast - it's only two stops along. After breakfast you have the choice of taking the monorail straight to Magic Kingdom Park, or if you are in less of a hurry you can enjoy a relaxing short boat ride to Magic Kingdom Park (via Disney's Polynesian Village Resort). At the end of your day at the park, the ferryboat will take you back to the Transportation and Ticket Center, or you could take the monorail again - it's just two stops, but it's fun when the monorail goes right through the middle of
Disney's Contemporary Resort! Your car is safely parked for the whole day, but there is a
daily parking charge for theme parks (unless you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, when there will be no charge).
