Well hello, Lyndsey. Welcome to planDisney!
So, it's time for a story. It's the story of a planDisney Panelist who went on his first solo trip to the
Walt Disney World Resort at the beginning of last August. This Panelist is a certified Disney Princess fan and has always wanted to dine at
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in
EPCOT. So he treated himself to a delicious breakfast, where he got to dine on both familiar and unique foods and chat with some of his favorite Princesses. He particularly enjoyed discussing underwater adventures with his favorite Princess, Ariel, and sipping on some Viking Coffee (for Guests over 21 only - drinking the drink, not chatting with the mermaid). I wonder who this Panelist could have been.
If you click on the "View Dining Plans and Discounts" link on
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall's page, it will reveal the specific number of meals that need to be redeemed for both the 2024 and 2025
Disney Dining Plan to dine here. For both 2024 and 2025, it is currently listed as 1 meal for breakfast and 2 meals for lunch and dinner. Just note that policies can change so you'll want to keep an eye on any updates leading up to your summer 2025 vacation!
When I dined there last August (oh, I hope I didn't spoil anything by revealing that
I'm the Panelist I was telling you the story about before), I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience at this castle-themed restaurant. But what made it even better was I immediately went on
Frozen Ever After following my meal. It was the perfect accompaniment to my meal and I highly recommend it. Did I sing my heart out to "Let It Go"? Only the Guests in that boat and the
Disney PhotoPass ride photo know the answer to that, but since singing is not a talent that I possess, I don't think anyone would call what I did as the boat plunged backward
singing.
Lyndsey, enjoy your Princess time, let it go, sing your heart out, and
be sure to reach out with any other questions.
Someday your rainbow will come shining through,
Matt
