Hey there, Ashley!
Thanks for bringing your great question to planDisney – these Disney details are exactly what we’re here for, and we love to help! I have a picky eater at home so I understand wanting to know exactly what they loved when we travel to try and recreate that ease of mealtime every day. As Joe Gardner’s mother says in the Pixar film
Soul, “you can’t eat dreams for breakfast!”
I spoke with a helpful Cast Member at
The Hollywood Brown Derby inside
Disney’s Hollywood Studios who shared that the yogurt brand served to children is typically Dannon. Please know that all restaurants continue to balance their supplies with Guest demand, and it can change depending on product availability. While it’s not certain, it is very likely that Dannon was the magical yogurt brand your daughter enjoyed and hopefully will love at home just as much.
I’ve learned to try and ask for a recipe or specific food items while in the moment on vacation within Disney Parks and Resorts or onboard
Disney Cruise Line, though of course sometimes it’s long after that experience when our children share how much they loved something. Your server will know exactly what was served, and I make a note in my phone for any favorites we encounter. Following
The Disney Parks Blog is another fun way to continue the memories of delicious dishes from vacation once home.
Search “recipes” and you’ll find many pages dedicated to recreating these Disney flavors at home in approachable ways. My family has enjoyed making
rich grilled cheese sandwiches from Woody’s Lunch Box,
savory wings from ‘Ohana, and decadent
French toast casserole from Disneyland.
I hope your recent visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort was everything you wanted it to be and more, Ashley. There’s nothing like experiencing the magic with our little ones and having our own personal escape from reality. If you have any other questions about your stay or are looking to plan another one in the future, you’ve got a friend in planDisney!
Bon Appetit!
Amy
