    My brand new magicband+ will not update. Help!

    Hi Noreen! You are just hours away from the start of your Disney vacation and I bet you are excited as I am for my next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. Let's help figure out that update so you can get your plans rolling. 

    The MagicBand+ is the newest version of Magicband that includes interacting with the parks in a new way. Still all the great features like using it as your park ticket and paying for food and merchandise. One of the new features is the lights that interact with shows like Fantasmic! at Disney's Hollywood Studios. I love that it is rechargeable and can be updated. I think you may be having issues with your current MagicBand+. I'm not sure what steps you have taken yet. Start with a fully charged battery or at least 60%, make sure you link with the My Disney Experience App and that Bluetooth is turned on. Before you update the MagicBand+ make sure the My Disney Experience App is updated as well. If for some reason you cannot get it to update through the app I might suggest performing a "factory reset". You can find the instructions on this Support Page Link. If all else fails please call Walt Disney World. The number is listed for "My Disney Experience, MagicBand, MagicBand+" phone number and a cast member will be waiting to help.

    I am visiting this spring as well and am excited about visiting EPCOT, it is always a sight to see but spring is a special time. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is a new reverse launch coaster that rotates 360 degrees so you can catch all the action. But the star of the show is the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival is running during your visit and that is a sight not to be missed. The life-sized topiaries inspired by your favorite Disney and Pixar characters are living and breathing. And if you like Disney snacks then the many Outdoor Kitchens should satisfy any foodies' hunger.
