Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Alexandra! I’m so glad to hEAR that y’all are new Annual Passholders! I just renewed my Annual Pass for the first time and I’m elated to continue reaping all the benefits of my little yellow card.
Whenever I book a Hotel room at Walt Disney World Resort, I always check the online booking system first. When you are an
Annual Passholder and the pass is hooked up to your
My Disney Experience profile, you will automatically see the discounts that are available when you search for Resorts. Just in case I may miss them, I have a new habit of calling my Travel Agent, Joy, so she can double check me. This past January, she was able to secure me a new rate that saved me several hundreds of dollars at
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. I love having someone else help me look out for savings, and I’ve never regretted it! You can always re-secure your reservation and apply a new rate, so book early and then always check back. I typically find Annual Passholder rates in the spring, and memorial day season, though I’ve heard of them becoming available at various times of the year. Often, they will apply to categories of Resorts or certain Resorts in particular. The key is like dining reservations… keep checking back!
You may find that the Annual Passholder email that you get about monthly will clue you in to discounts and new availability, so be sure to continue to update your email address. If there are other Annual Passholder questions I can help you with, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
