My boys 3 & 6 will be going on the Magic cruise in Feb w/ 20 other family members. I was the family "cruise director" but got pregnant and am unable to go. I want to make sure that they do all the fun stuff without me! What should I tell the

    Hi Jennifer!

First, let me congratulate you on your pregnancy!  A new baby is always joyful news!  I am sorry that you are missing your cruise, but it sure is for a great reason.

Your boys are going to have an excellent time.  You may be a little worried about them being in the kids' clubs, but I can guarantee you that the counselors on board are simply the best caregivers you'll ever find.  I have always been a paranoid mom, and I now leave my kids at their clubs with complete certainty that not only will they be safe, they are going to sleep well because they are having over the top, nonstop fun!

If it makes you feel better, once you have everyone's advanced dining reservations and excursions booked, just remind your family that all they need to do is check their Personal Navigator each evening upon return to their stateroom.  It lists every single character meet and greet, movie, and activity that is scheduled for the following day.    It has all of the information that they will ever need.  There really isn't a need to worry that they won't know what to do or that they won't have fun.  That's impossible on a Disney cruise.  Remember, Guest Services is there for exactly that...serve their Guests.

Since you are their Cruise Director, I would remind them about taking their proper identification documents and I would also advise you to call Disney Cruise Line about 10 days to 2 weeks before sailing to confirm all of their reservations.

I hope they have a magical sailing!  For you I wish a wonderful, restful break.  You'll have a third little one soon and I think you should enjoy your time off!  Good luck with your new addition!
