I want to take my 2 boys to Disney next year in Aug my youngest will be 3 and half and my eldest will be 6 would their be plenty of rides for my little one to go on, is he to young should I wait. And also which of the moderated resorts is best for kids

    Hi Jane,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Mickey and Minnie Mouse will be delighted to greet your little ones at the Walt Disney World Resort!

I think they are great ages to visit! There are so many rides that your youngest could enjoy, especially at Magic Kingdom. Of course, you know your children best, so I encourage you to review the attractions list for each theme park - Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Animal Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Check the height requirements to see which rides would work for your family. Also, take some time to review the Planning for Preschool Kids & Little Ones Guide. It will give you additional ideas for experiences with your little ones.

Of course, no visit is complete without character experiences! Be sure to take some time to find your children's favorite characters. My family loves to do character dining experiences so that the characters stop by our table to pose for pictures and provide autographs. Some of our favorites are Chef Mickey's, 1900 Park Fare, Tusker House Restaurant and Cinderella's Royal Table.

Jane, our favorite moderate resort is Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. The resort grounds are gorgeous, the rooms lovely and the main pool area is super cute. The playground area is also a nice feature for little ones!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
