My boys collect pressed pennies and I was wondering if there was anywhere to get them on the cruise ships or castaway cay?

    Ahoy, Jami!

It sounds like your boys have been bitten by the "pressed penny bug"! My youngest daughter had so much fun pressing and collecting pennies on our last Walt Disney World vacation. I felt like my bag weighed a hundred pounds from all the extra change I was carrying around! We had a blast searching for penny-pressing machines throughout the parks and resorts.

Unfortunately, at this time, there are no pressed penny machines on the ships or on Castaway Cay. When on a Disney Cruise Line vacation, my pressed-penny-collecting daughter likes to participate in another favorite activity - Pin Trading. There are lots of Disney Cruise Line pins that can only be purchased on the ships, and the crew members are really fun to meet and trade with! There's an Officer Pin Trading Event held during most sailings - times and locations will be listed in your Personal Navigator (a daily schedule of events delivered to your stateroom).

Thanks for cruising by the Moms Panel with your question. Please let us know if we can help as you continue to plan your magical vacation!
