My boys are 4 and 6. We are booked in a 1 bedroom villa at Bay Lake, where we stayed one other time. (We also stayed at Beach Club.) They would love the theme suites at AoA, but I know location at BL can't be beat. Would you stick with BL or try AoA?

    Hi Amy!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

There are so many good points about both resorts, that it really is down to personal preference.  I would choose Bay Lake Tower simply because I love the location.  Being right next door to the Magic Kingdom, and close to Chef Mickey's, overlooking Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake, and having easy access to the monorail is hard to beat!

However, it would be fantastic to stay at a brand new resort, which does look amazing.  I am sure your children, especially being the ages of 4 and 6, would love Disney's Art of Animation!  There is lots of information about this wonderful resort on the Disney Parks Blog that I am sure you will find interesting while trying to make your decision!  The official opening dates for the themed wings at Art of Animation are:
Finding Nemo (Grand Opening) - opens May 31
    Cars - opens June 18
Lion King - opens August 10
Little Mermaid - opens September 15.
And some great news is that guests can being booking rooms from today !! (March 23).

If you have any more questions about these resorts, or any other planning questions, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
