My boyfriend’s mother has my ticket linked to her my disney account, is there any way to transfer it over to mine? As well as the reservation information? I want to link my own magic band to my personal card and still use it for a room key and ticket

    Hey Howdy Hey JJ!

Welcome to planDisney! I’ll be more than happy to help you out with managing your vacation plans on your My Disney Experience account. The good news is, since she already has all the information on her account, she just needs to “share her plans” with you. Have her log in to her My Disney Experience account and go to “ My Family & Friends” tab. Once there, she will be able to send out a request to your account, so that you two of you, can become connected. You will then be able to see all the shared plans and your ticket!

When I made the vacation plans for my family, I had simply added my husband's name and went an entire week without linking it to his actual account. Once I invited him to connect, he was able to accept the request and see our Disney Resort reservation, theme park reservations, and dining reservations. It’s a quick fix. He can now not only see all of our existing reservations, but he’s even added a few of his own to our plans.

Yee-Haw, JJ! Don’t worry Partner, you’ll even be able to use your MagicBand once you both are connected. The only thing you’ll need to do once you arrive, is stop at the front desk so that a Cast Member can connect your MagicBand to your card for charges. Charges automatically fall under the card of the person who made the reservation, but a Cast Member at your resort will be able to link and include your card as well.

I hope after this quick fix you’ll be riding like the wind. Have a Rootin’-Tootin’ time, JJ!
