hi my boyfriends never been to disney world before and he dosnet seem like he would enjoy it. how do i make it most magical and special to him, i want to show him how to be a kid again.

    Corrine:

My husband was of a similar mindset before our first family trip to Disney in 2002--and now he's probably a bigger fan of Disney than me!

    Consider several approaches:

    • The best way to a man's heart is through his stomach: Disney does dining right!  Whether it's a romantic dinner for two atop the Contemporary at California Grill or mouth-watering ribs underneath a canopy of trees along the riverbank behind Flame Tree BBQ in Animal Kingdom, a few choice meals will help him see it's not at a typical theme park.  One of my husband's favorite places is Biergarten in Epcot with its extensive meat main dishes and fun floor show.  If your boyfriend enjoys beer, he won't be disappointed.
    • There's a reason Disney calls them "Attractions":  Typical theme parks have "rides" with que lines; Disney creates attractions you experience from the time you line up until you get off!  Epcot's Mission: SPACE, Test Track, and even the boat ride inside Norway and the exit games to Spaceship Earth should help him see the Disney difference.  Disney Studio's Tower of Terror and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, not to mention Toy Story Mania, will also fit this bill.
    • Add a splash of romance: It doesn't have to be sappy!  There's something flirty about trying all of the different colas at Cool Zone in Epcot together!  Or getting pummeled by a wave of water at Kali Water Rapids and sharing the laugh.  But if sharing an ice cream sundae on Main Street after dinner doesn't bring out the kid in him while sounding just as romantic, the fireworks at Magic Kingdom or Epcot should do the trick!
    Wishing y'all a magical time!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
