Hi! Me and my boyfriend wants to sign up for the 2014 Dopey Challenge. But we are concern about what can we do in our free time (while not running) If it is ok to go to the parks even if we have to wake up early the next morning for a longer run.

    Hi Luz!

The Dopey Challenge is going to be amazing!  It's definitely Dopey:)

I understand your concern.  I think it's fine to go to the parks as long as you take it easy and still get into bed at a reasonable time.  I can see myself going to the parks on the days after the 5K and 10K, but maybe not after the half marathon, the day before the full marathon.  On the half marathon day, I would probably spend it resting, with a good meal out for dinner, followed by a very early bedtime!

The parks are a great option as long as you aren't planning to cover the entire park and ride every attraction while you're there!

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
